Teamix is a free app that makes balanced football teams for amateur groups. Here are short answers to what organisers usually ask: price, players, ratings, teams and your account. If you can't find what you need, write to info@teamix.es.

The basics

What is Teamix?

Teamix is a free app for amateur football groups that builds balanced teams from each player's skills and position, lets the group vote on the lineup, and keeps the match history. More in About Teamix.

Is it free?

Yes. Teamix is free during early access. A paid plan, billed per group, will come later. Details in Pricing.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. Teamix works in any browser, on mobile and desktop, at app.teamix.es. There are also iOS and Android apps, on the App Store and Google Play.

Is it available in English?

Yes. Teamix is available in Spanish and English.

Does Teamix use AI?

No. Teams are balanced by an algorithm using the players' ratings and positions.

Players and ratings

Does every player need an account?

No. Only the organiser does. Players can vote through the group's public link.

How does Teamix know who is better?

The group's admins privately rate each player from 1 to 10 on four skills: physical, defence, attack and vision. Teamix uses the average.

Who can see my ratings?

Nobody. Your ratings are private; Teamix only uses the average of all of them.

How many players fit in a group?

Up to 55 active players.

Can I have more than one group?

Yes. You can create or join several groups, for example one for Tuesday seven-a-side and another for Sundays.

Teams

Which formats does it support?

From 5v5 to 11v11: five-a-side, seven-a-side, eight-a-side and full 11-a-side.

How many players do you need for a game?

At least 6.

What about goalkeepers?

You can mark up to two goalkeepers per game, and one goes to each team.

Can I keep two players together?

Yes. Mark them as a pair and Teamix puts them on the same team.

Why do I get a different split each time?

On purpose. There are many ways to make equally fair teams, so Teamix suggests several different ones and the group chooses. That way you don't get the same split every week. More in the team generator.

Your account

How do I delete my account?

From your account settings. It's deleted immediately.
